This 4-day safari takes you to the misty Bwindi Impenetrable forest, which is home to more than half the population of the remaining 720 Mountain Gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable forest offers a unique birding opportunity, cultural experiences, and a scenic allure of stunning hills and lush vegetation inhabited by the elusive primates and pygmies. Gorilla tracking is the most enchanting experience in this forest. You will have an experience of a lifetime as you watch at close range these majestic apes feed, play, and relax.

4 Days Gorilla Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
You will be met at the airport by our safari guide who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala. Dinner and overnight will be at this hotel.

Day 2: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
We start off early and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, 8-9 hours away. This route is well endowed with remarkable tourist attractions including the Equator line, savannah plains, the rolling hills, and a rich cultural backdrop. Lunch is at one of the many stopover points on the way.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
You will have an early breakfast and be driven to the Park Headquarters for a briefing on the rules of gorilla tracking. After the briefing, you will set off for trekking in very thick vegetation. Trekking takes between 2 – 8 hours and you have one hour to stay with the Gorillas once sited.
In the evening you can either go for a community walk among the Batwa people who used to live in the Bwindi forest before it was gazetted as a National Park and learn about their life and culture as a forest people or simply relax at your lodge. You will have dinner and overnight at your previous lodge.

Day 4: Travel back to Kampala
You will have an early breakfast and set off for Kampala, arriving in the evening. Lunch will be enroute while dinner and overnight will be at the hotel reserved for you.
