4 Days Semiliki Wildlife Safari Overview.
The 4 days Semiliki Wildlife Safari adventure offers you a chance to explore the huge wilderness of this Semiliki Wildlife Reserve. The wildlife reserve is located in the secluded Semliki Valley which is a habitat for several mammals including the huge elephants, lions, buffaloes, and noisy chimps and monkeys as well as various bird species largely endemic to this area.
This area is renowned for the thrilling night game drives which offer a great opportunity to see a number of nocturnal animals like the hyenas, white-tailed mongoose, cats, slender mongoose, and leopards, among others. It is also famous for its hot springs.

4 Days Semiliki Wildlife Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
You will be met at the airport by our safari guide who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala. Dinner and overnight will be at this hotel.
Day 2: Travel to Semliki Wildlife Reserve
You will have an early morning breakfast and head westwards to the Semliki Wildlife Reserve located in the basin of the Western Rift Valley. The drive takes 6-7 hours via Fort Portal town down to the eastern part of Lake Albert. You have lunch in Fort Portal and proceed to your lodge in —-
Day 3: Chimp tracking and bird watching in the Semliki Wildlife Reserve
You will have breakfast and head for the verdant rainforest to start Chimp tracking. Chips are normally tracked in the early morning or in the evening because they have a tendency of hiding during the day. You will see several birds including the chestnut owlet, spotted-breasted ibis, Congo serpent eagle, black-throated coucal, chestnut-flanked goshawk, black-wattled hornbill, red-thighed sparrow hawk, red-rumped tinker bird, long-tailed hawk, Zenker’s honeyguide, Nkulengu rail, Bates’s nightjar, and Hartlaub’s duck. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Travel to Kampala.
You will have an early game drive in the morning after which you will head back to the lodge for a late breakfast. You will set off for Kampala and arrive in the late afternoon.
