5 Days Kibale will take you to Kibale Forest National Park for Chimp trekking which is the main attraction. It also involves optional bird watching, a nature walk through the Bigodi Swamp area, a visit to a community in the area, or a visit to one of the crater lakes.

5 Days Kibale Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
You will be met at the airport by our safari guide who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala. Dinner and overnight will be at this hotel. This is the first day of the 5 days safari. Meal Plan: Dinner
Day 2: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park
You will depart Kampala after breakfast and head westwards to Fort Portal town. The drive will take about 4 -5 hours. You will have lunch in Fort Portal and continue to Kibale where you will go for either a community walk or visit the beautiful Crater lakes region for a spectacular view. Dinner and overnight will be at your reserved lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3: Chimp tracking and Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
After breakfast, you will report to the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre at 08.00 am for a briefing before chimp trekking. The forest is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates and animals as well as birds, and a variety of butterflies, and other insects. You will after the trekking transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park arrive in time for the amazing Kazinga channel to see at close range the water animals including Hippos, Buffalos, and Crocodiles. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican, and Jacana. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge. Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will set off early (about 6.30 am) for a morning game drive, an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats. Expect to see the famous Big Five; elephants, Buffalos, Lions, Bushbucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas leopards, antelopes, and Waterbucks as well as birds. You will return for breakfast and relax till lunch. In the afternoon you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5: Game drive in the Mburo Park and boat cruise on the Lake
You will have an early breakfast and travel to Lake Mburo National Park centered on a series of swamp-fringed lakes rich in birdlife while its green acacia woodland harbors wildlife like the Zebra, warthog, Elands, Impala among others which can be seen even as you enter the park. You will have a 2-hour game drive and go for lunch at the lodge reserved for you. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on L. Mburo and get quite close to the crocodiles and hippos. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5: Travel to Kampala
After breakfast, you will set off for Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time and take some photos. The entire stretch of this journey will take 6-7 hours to arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon. Depending on the timing of your departure flight you will either be transferred to the Airport for your scheduled flight back home or to the hotel of your booking for dinner and overnight.
