 Nile White Water Rafting Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kampala

You will be met at the airport by our safari guide who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala. Briefing about the Nile White Water Rafting & Gorilla Trekking Safari will be done right before dinner at the hotel where you’ll spend the night. Tomorrow morning we embark on our 5 days Nile White Water Rafting & Gorilla Trekking Safari

• Accommodation: Anderita Beach Hotel, Papyrus Guesthouse Entebbe,, Gately Inn Entebbe.

Day 2: Travel to Jinja for white water rafting

You will have an early breakfast and travel to Jinja for the magnificent white water rafting adventure. The journey will take you through the tropical rain forest of Mabira, tea and sugarcane plantations plus several roadside markets before getting to Kalagala falls in time for your full or half-day white water rafting adventure on the Nile. You will crown your adventure with a visit to the source of the Nile and return to Kampala for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have an early breakfast and set off for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Southwestern Uganda You will have a stopover at the equator for photos and water experiments at this landmark before proceeding to Mbarara town where you will have a lunch break. After lunch, you will continue the drive through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge of your booking.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking

You will have an early morning breakfast and move to the Park headquarters to join other trackers in a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you 1-8 hours. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access by tourists. You will have one hour to stay with the Gorillas once sited before returning to your lodge. Time allows you will go for a guided nature walk around the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe

You will after breakfast start on your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your departure flight. No accommodation will be provided.
