Kenya Road Safaris

Explorer Kenya offers budget, mid-range, and luxury safaris to some of the best national parks/ game reserves such as Masai Mara Game Reserve, Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru National Park, Samburu Game Reserve, Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, Lake Bogoria, Lake Baringo, Tsavo East & Tsavo West National Parks and many more destinations. These safaris can begin either from Nairobi (your hotel/ airport/ place of residence) or from Mombasa (beach resort/ place of preference) and end in any of the two cities or at your place of preference.

Every safari destination has its uniqueness hence it is always important to consider the number of days you would prefer to be away and the distance from one destination to another when planning for the road trips. We have a short selection of superb itineraries of these road safaris and in case you cannot find a perfectly fitting program in terms of price, length of stay, type of accommodation, and points of interest, please feel free to request a tailor-made private safari by emailing us at and our well-experienced travel consultants who will respond to you immediately.

Whether you are traveling solo, as family, as a couple, or just as friends we will arrange for you a private and exclusive vehicle – A pop-up safari minivan or 4×4 safari vehicle. We also organize joining safaris if you don’t want to travel alone. We also organize activities that are normally excluded in our programs and are mostly considered optional and charged separately. These activities include balloon safaris in Masai Mara Game Reserve, cultural visits, night game drives, boat riding at the lakes, walking safaris, and sun-downers.
