Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will take you for a short Kigali city tour. Thereafter, proceed to Nyungwe for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest National Park

After your breakfast, you will transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park for an adventurous canopy walk which involves walking from one end of the forest to another viewing birds, and other species of primates. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Travel to Volcanoes National Park

Day 4: Golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Early morning after breakfast at the lodge you will go for golden monkey trekking. Have lunch at the lodge and later in the evening go for a cultural tour to banana bear makers and Iby’iwacu cultural center.

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking Day.

Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during Gorilla Tracking. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three-quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. In the evening, you will go for a community walk to experience the living of the Batwa people.

Day 7: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will arrive in time for Lunch at the lodge and game drive in Ishasha in search of tree-climbing lions and other wildlife species like buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, and if lucky wild cats such as leopards.

Day 8: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat on Kazinga Channel.

This morning you will head back to the plains of Kasenyi for a morning game drive to explore the beautiful wildlife speciesbuffaloes, antelopes, and elephants. After lunch, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you the chance of viewing animals like hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and many more who visit the channel for drinking water.

Day 9: Morning Game drive and Travel to Kibale Forest National Park

After early morning breakfast, drive to the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park area in search the wild animals which include Elephants, Buffalos, wild cats, Savanna birds, and different species of antelopes such as waterbucks Uganda kobs among others. After lunch proceeds, the drive to Kibale Forest National Park arrives at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.

Return to the lodge for a lunch, thereafter go for a2 hour boat cruise to the bottom of the falls to explore how river Nile squeezes itself in a narrow gorge before exploding out producing a lifetime experience.

Day 15: Departure

After your breakfast, you will have a brief Kampala city tour and then proceed to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
