Kigali Serena Hotel, Kigali

Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, Volcanoes National Park

Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is Rwanda’s first ever community owned lodge. The lodge was built and is operated by Governors’ Camp Collection, but the ownership rests with a Community Trust, which uses rentals and community fees from the lodge to drive socio-economic and conservation initiatives in the communities adjacent to the National Park. The lodge, situated in the foothills of the mighty Virungas, the chain of 15,000 ft volcanoes stretching through Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, affords wonderful views of the volcanoes and the surrounding countryside. Accommodation at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge comprises six cottages, two suites, one family cottage. All are stone buildings with Rwandese terracotta tile roofs, and feature large sitting areas, fireplaces, stylish en-suite bathrooms finished with Venetian plaster a dressing room and a sheltered veranda.

Magashi Camp By Wilderness Safaris, Akagera National Park

Magashi Camp is situated in the productive and phenomenally diverse north-eastern corner of Akagera National Park, overlooking scenic Lake Rwanyakazinga. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge is located in Musanze district northern Rwanda neighboring Volcanoes National Park. The lodge is located on the foothills of the Mount Sabinyo, a volcanic mountains that make up the Virunga ranges. The lodge is about 15 minutes from the main entrance to Rwanda’s Park National des Volcans.

Mountain Gorilla View Lodge is an ecolodge with 30 spacious cottages. The cottages are made of stone and thatch. All cottage comes with a living area with a fireplace, en-suite facilities and a private veranda.

Bisate Lodge

Bisate Lodge is located in the natural amphitheater of an eroded volcanic cone – in Kinyarwanda, the word bisate means ‘pieces’ describing how the once-whole cone was worn away by natural erosion. The lodge is situated in forest of Eucalyptus trees  with the beautiful views of Rwanda’s hills and the park.   One  can either  be at the lodge  by road transport from Kigali international airport which takes approximately  2-3 hours to drive to the park and it takes 40 minutes  to fly from Kigali to the hotel  .
