TANZANIA SAFARI VEHICLES

Tanzania Game Drive uses closed 4WDs, typically Toyota Landcruisers with a pop-top roof.  Tanzania Safaris involve a lot of travelling on main roads (tarmac and dirt) and therefore closed vehicles are a necessity.

For fly-in safaris, a combination of light aircraft and open-sided 4WDs with a sun canopy, are used.  Open-sided 4WD vehicles offer greater visibility and provide unobstructed photography opportunities in all directions.

On all our Tanzania Safaris we make use of specially designed and converted Toyota Landcruisers. We have put a lot of thought into adapting them to the rugged African bush, the rough conditions and the bumpy roads, providing maximum comfort and at the same time ensuring the best safari experience for our guests.

Our Tanzania Safari Vehicles have large sliding windows and pop-up roofs, offering excellent views and giving our guests fantastic opportunities for safe and undisturbed photography while on game drives.

The vehicle is built with custom seating, large panoramic windows single photographic roof hatch and lots of other little features unique to safari vehicles.

Our Tanzania Safari Vehicles are also fitted with radio communication equipment and wildlife safari accessories for safety and comfort on safari.

All our 4 wheel drive vehicles are custom built and are used on our private guided adventures, photographic safaris, group tours, family safaris and customized itineraries across Tanzania Destinations.

Saso Uganda Safaris believe in value for money. Every guest would like to have the most reliable and comfortable vehicles on safari. In response to the client’s needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy that ensures a young fleet at all times. We have a total fleet of 225 well-maintained motor vehicles, predominantly 4-wheel drives. This does away with the problem of sub-contracting vehicles and driver guides, which may compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space and comfort. All of them have hatched roofs and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photography during game drives and sightseeing.
