The purpose of your intended travel and other facts will determine what type of visa is required under U.S. immigration law. As a visa applicant, you will need to establish that you meet all requirements to receive the category of Uganda Visa for which you are applying.

How Much Do Uganda Visas Cost?

The Uganda Visa Cost depends on how long you plan to stay in Uganda. Costs can range from $50 to $200.

Single-entry e-visas start at around $50. An East African Tourist e-visa starts at $100. If you’re planning multiple entries into Uganda with an e-visa, pricing ranges from $100 to over $200, depending on the length of the visa and similar factors.

Note – (The Ugandan government can change fee amounts at any time. Fees do not include processing, service, consular, postage or other charges.)

Information On Obtaining A Uganda Visa

GENERAL:  All visa applicants for any (type/category) must provide the following:

At least 6 (six months) a valid passport with enough blank visa pages.

Two most recent identical passport-size photos.

A duly filled Uganda visa application form is obtainable from the visa section.

Photocopies of the 1st and last pages of the applicant’s passport or renewal page.

Infants/child applications must be submitted with valid travel documents including a copy of the birth certificate and dully filled visa application forms.  Infants travelling to Uganda must be accompanied by their biological/legal parents.  Child applicants i.e. persons below 18 years must submit express written authorization by their biological/legal parents authorizing them to travel to Uganda unaccompanied.

The Mission issues, single-entry visas except for Diplomatic / Official passport holders.

Non-refundable Visa fees of USD 50

Business Visas

Introductory letter from the Parent Institution (Organization, Company) in Nigeria of the visa applicant.

Copy of valid certificate of Incorporation of the applicant’s Institution.

Copy of the most recent Bank Statement of the applicant.

Copy of invitation from correspondent Business Partner in Uganda and to provide Certificate of Incorporation i.e. Legal Status in Uganda.

If the business partner in Uganda is a non-Ugandan Citizen, he/she must attach copies of:

Resident permit/work permit,

Certificate of Incorporation of the foreign company in Uganda.

Religious Visas

A letter of introduction from the Church organization of the applicant in Nigeria is to be accompanied by a copy of the Certificate of Registration, current physical address and contacts.

A copy of the invitation letter from the host church in Uganda.

Copy of valid certificate of NGO Board Registration of the host church.

Copy of the most recent bank statement of the applicant (not church sponsoring).
