Day Tours In Entebbe Town

Entebbe town has several optional excursions for those staying in Hotels and Guest Houses in Entebbe. You can choose to visit the Botanical Garden located on the shores of Lake Victoria. It is within walkable distance from Guest Houses like Boma, Karibu, Airport Guest House, Lake Victoria Hotel, Gately Inn, and African Routes Guest House among other Accommodation properties in Entebbe. It is one of the best places to enjoy nature walks while spotting some rare birds and primates in Entebbe.

Ngamba Island Day Tours And Boat Excursions

Day tours to Ngamba Island run at 8:45 am and 12:45 pm. These day tours are all bout orphaned chimps that are rescued from wildlife traffickers and taken to Ngamba Island for rehabilitation. At the island, one is privileged to listen to an informative talk from one of the caregivers and also view chimps feeding. The boat excursion is about 45 minutes from Entebbe mainland and you get a chance to stop at the equator crossing in Lake Victoria.

Day Tours At UWEC Zoo

Starting as a Zoo, the centre has expanded to become a Wildlife Education Center where one can spend some time viewing animals in a semi-natural setup. Varieties of animals do exist at Uganda Wildlife Education Center and include, elephants, lions, giraffes, chimpanzees, snakes, rhinos and so many others. Because of this, so many activities have evolved and clients are free to participate in any. Activities at Uganda Wildlife Education Center include chimpanzee close-up, behind the scene program, keeper for the day and general wildlife viewing.

Entebbe Road Markets

Entebbe is one of the few towns in Uganda where roadside markets are organized. Many traders flock to these roads with their merchandise to sell to passers and such became a popular activity in Entebbe.

Kampala City Tour And Day Tours

At one time referred to as the city of seven hills, Kampala has expanded to cover almost all hills around. There is so much to do in Kampala and what you get to see depends on the time at your disposal. Kampala city tour may allow you to visit markets, shopping malls, Buganda cultural buildings such as Kasubi Tombs, Lubiri, and cathedrals and Mosques in the city. Single Entry Visa is allowed to Indian travellers who wish to stay in Uganda for a short period. … Indians who travel to Uganda for tourism purposes or business purposes or medical purposes. The applicant needs to mention the purpose of his visit. Uganda tourist visas and Uganda work visas are single-entry visas.

The official processing duration for a Ugandan visa as per the official Ugandan Consulates’ site is 14 business days. However, this duration does vary between 2 and 15 days depending on the Embassy to be contacted.
